Mac’s Auto Lofts

Mac’s Auto Lofts is phase one of a three phase development in Pueblo, Colorado, and is the adaptive re-use of a previous auto body shop. Working within the existing structure, Mac’s Auto Lofts is nine lofts with a commercial space designed with the intent of becoming an indoor/outdoor bar and entertainment venue.

Inside the lofts, residents experience stained concrete floors, exposed steel trusses, exposed mechanical ducts, and open stairs that lead to a second floor loft. Overlooking the living room below, the upstairs loft includes built in closets, stacked washer and dryers, and full bathroom.

The commercial space includes a large outdoor space for dining and entertaining along the proposed pedestrian alley. This space becomes the nucleus of the downtown block.
